Payment

Sales tax will be applied to all orders shipped within Florida.

We are happy to hold coral orders for up to 10 days after payment. Fish may be held for up to 5 days unless prior arrangements have been made.


Shipping Overview

Lush Corals offers multiple shipping and delivery options depending on the products purchased.

Livestock Shipping

To help ensure safe arrival, all livestock orders are carefully packed using professional-grade insulated shipping boxes and temperature-control materials as needed. Packaging methods are tailored to the specific livestock being shipped.

  • Florida Overnight Shipping & Packaging: $49
  • Nationwide Overnight Shipping & Packaging: $69
  • Orders over $400 receive a $20 discount on Livestock Shipping & Packaging

Standard Shipping

  • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day
  • Shipped via UPS Ground unless another shipping method is selected at checkout
  • Free Ground Shipping on most dry goods orders over $100

Oversized Items

  • Certain products are larger or heavier and do not qualify for free shipping
  • Clearly labeled as "Oversized Item – Free Shipping Excluded"
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout

Freight Delivery

  • Large aquariums and systems require freight shipping
  • Labeled as "Freight Delivery – Calculated After Purchase"
  • Shipping charges are not collected at checkout
  • Our team will contact you with freight options and pricing after purchase

Drop-Ship Aquariums

  • Ship directly from the manufacturer
  • Shipping costs and timelines vary by manufacturer and destination

Local Pickup

  • Free local pickup is available during normal business hours
  • Most in-stock products are available for pickup within 1 business day
  • Livestock pickup orders should be collected within 10 days unless prior arrangements have been made

Livestock Shipping & Packaging

Our Livestock Shipping & Packaging fee includes overnight delivery, insulated shipping containers, oxygen-filled bags, and heat or cold packs as needed to help ensure your animals arrive safely and in excellent condition.

To maximize livestock safety, orders are generally shipped Monday through Wednesday.

While Thursday shipping may occasionally be available, carrier delays can occur. If a shipment sent on Thursday experiences a delay, delivery may not occur until Monday. For this reason, we generally limit livestock shipments to Monday through Wednesday whenever possible.

We currently ship livestock only within the contiguous United States.

We do not ship livestock to:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • Puerto Rico
  • International destinations

Live Arrival Guarantee

We carefully package all livestock using insulated containers and temperature-control packs as needed to help ensure safe arrival.

In the unlikely event of a Dead on Arrival (DOA):

  • Contact us within 2 hours of delivery
  • Provide two clear photographs of the deceased animal
  • Retain all livestock and packaging until instructed otherwise

Do not dispose of livestock prior to receiving authorization from Lush Corals, as doing so may void the guarantee.

Once approved, store credit (excluding shipping charges) will be issued for the livestock value.

To qualify for our Live Arrival Guarantee:

  • The first delivery attempt must be successful
  • Someone must be available to receive the package upon delivery

We cannot be responsible for carrier delays caused by weather, mechanical failures, routing errors, or other circumstances beyond our control.


Damaged Shipments

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

  • Damage must be reported within 3 days
  • Retain all packaging for carrier inspection
  • Photos may be required to assist with claims

If damage is not reported within this timeframe, resolutions will be at our discretion.

We will assist in filing shipping-related damage claims whenever possible.


Return Policy

Livestock

All livestock sales are final except as covered under the Live Arrival Guarantee above.

Standard Products

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.

Products must:

  • Be new and unopened
  • Include all original packaging and components

Returns are subject to:

  • 10% restocking fee
  • Customer-paid return shipping

In-Store Aquariums

Returnable within 5 business days if:

  • The aquarium has not been used
  • No water has been added

Returns are subject to:

  • 25% restocking fee
  • Customer-provided transportation

No refunds will be issued if:

  • The aquarium has been delivered
  • The stand has been assembled

Drop-Ship Aquariums

Drop-ship aquariums are custom-order items and are considered final sale once ordered with the manufacturer.

Partial refunds may be considered prior to shipment on a case-by-case basis.

Return Highlights

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Free shipping orders may have outbound shipping costs deducted from the refund
  • All original parts, manuals, and accessories must be included
  • Return processing may take up to 1 week

Return Authorization (RA)

All returns require a Return Authorization issued within 30 days of purchase.

  • RA number must be visible on the package
  • Do not use Lush Corals shipping accounts for returns
  • Missing components may result in partial refunds or denial of the return

Equipment Liability

Lush Corals is not responsible for damage caused by equipment failure.

All manufacturer warranties and warranty claims must be handled directly with the manufacturer.

At Lush Corals, we strive to keep all information on our website accurate, complete, and current. However, errors may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Update pricing and availability without notice
  • Limit quantities
  • Refuse orders
  • Verify information prior to processing an order
