Behavior & Husbandry
Red Firefish are calm, hovering fish that tend to stay close to rockwork or a chosen hiding spot. They are shy by nature and do best in peaceful environments where they are not outcompeted or harassed by more aggressive tankmates.
They are known jumpers, so a tight-fitting lid is essential. Providing rockwork with caves and crevices will help them feel secure and reduce stress.
