Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula Aquarium System
The Red Sea MAX NANO G2 Peninsula is a compact, fully equipped reef aquarium designed to deliver a complete reef-keeping system in a clean, modern footprint. Its peninsula-style layout provides additional front-to-back depth compared with the MAX NANO Cube, creating more room for aquascaping, coral placement, and open swimming space while remaining compact enough for smaller rooms, offices, or dedicated display areas.
The MAX NANO G2 combines ultra-clear rimless glass with an integrated rear filtration sump, protein skimmer, circulation pump, automatic top-off system, and ReefLED lighting. Most of the equipment is hidden behind the aquarium, giving the system a streamlined appearance without requiring a traditional sump cabinet below.

Integrated Rear Sump Filtration
The MAX NANO G2 Peninsula features a fully integrated rear sump that keeps filtration equipment hidden while remaining easy to access for routine maintenance.
- Removable surface skimmer directs water into the rear filtration system.
- Included 225-micron filter sock provides mechanical filtration.
- Removable filter-sock compartment is NanoMat-ready, allowing installation of Red Sea's automatic fleece-roll filtration system.
- Integrated MAX NANO protein skimmer provides dedicated protein skimming without requiring additional equipment beneath the aquarium.
- Media chamber accommodates activated carbon or other filtration media.
- Bubble trap helps reduce microbubbles before water returns to the display.
- Adjustable multidirectional return nozzles allow circulation to be directed throughout the aquarium.
- Rear sump equipment is concealed behind a removable and rotatable screen for easy access.
REEF-SPEC Circulation
- Includes a 950 LPH / 240 GPH Sicce circulation pump.
- Circulates approximately the entire system volume multiple times per hour to provide strong water movement through the filtration system.

Automatic Top-Off

The system is also ReefATO+ ready, allowing owners to upgrade to Red Sea's smart automatic top-off, temperature monitoring, and leak detection system if desired.
NanoMat Ready
The rear sump includes a removable mechanical filtration compartment designed to accept the Red Sea NanoMat automatic fleece filter.
NanoMat replaces traditional filter socks with an automatically advancing fleece roll, helping remove suspended waste from the aquarium before it can break down in the system.
NanoMat is sold separately.
