The UNS Reef System offers a reef-ready setup designed to balance clean aesthetics, durability, and practical functionality. The R Series features signature UNS 45° mitered edges, black silicone, and thick, ultra-clear low-iron glass for exceptional viewing clarity and long-term performance.

Each system includes a matching aluminum-framed stand and pre-installed sump filtration system. Fully removable magnetic cabinet doors provide easy access to equipment while eliminating traditional metal hinges that may be prone to corrosion. Integrated storage, cable management, and a dedicated controller compartment help keep the entire system organized and streamlined.

Every detail of the UNS R90 has been designed to create a refined, modern reef aquarium system that is easy to install, maintain, and customize.

Rimless Aquarium Features

Signature 45° mitered edges with low-iron, high-clarity glass provide exceptional viewing clarity and allow easier edge-to-edge cleaning with your preferred algae scraper or glass cleaner.
Black silicone helps discreetly hide the appearance of coralline algae along the seams.
Thick glass construction eliminates the need for euro bracing while maintaining the clean appearance of a true rimless aquarium.
Sleek white aquarium bottom allows for an attractive bare-bottom setup while helping conceal equipment located beneath the aquarium.

Aquarium Cabinet & Sump Features

Low-profile overflow box features intake slots at both the top and bottom for efficient water movement. An internal vertical glass panel provides additional protection against flooding in the event of a pump failure.
Durable polycarbonate overflow cover offers increased resistance to heat and warping. Additional covers are designed for easy removal and sit flush to help reduce salt creep.
Fully removable magnetic cabinet doors provide unrestricted access to equipment. The aluminum frame and magnetic attachment system eliminate the need for traditional stainless-steel hinges, improving long-term corrosion resistance.
Arrives fully assembled with the sump pre-installed for a faster, easier setup. Simply position the aquarium on the stand, connect the pre-glued plumbing, and secure the connections using the included twist-on unions.
Pre-cut openings provide clean and convenient wire management.
Includes a pull-out storage drawer for organizing aquarium accessories, maintenance tools, test kits, and other essentials.
Built-in controller compartment provides a dedicated location for power supplies, surge protectors, and cable management.
The lower controller compartment may also be used for a chiller and includes a viewing window for convenient monitoring.
Removable controller boards can be easily accessed through the side cabinet door while keeping wires organized and concealed.

Sump Filtration System Features

Included gate valves allow precise water-flow adjustment while helping reduce overflow noise. The return plumbing also includes a ball valve and barbed fittings for connecting optional equipment such as reactors or chillers.
A gasket positioned below the drainpipe and sump helps reduce salt-creep accumulation.
Multi-chamber sump includes a prefilter baffle that captures larger debris using filter floss, helping extend the time between filter-sock maintenance.
Diffuser plates help reduce water noise and prevent filter socks from floating as they become full.
Dedicated protein-skimmer chamber accommodates a variety of popular skimmers. An adjustable acrylic baffle allows the operating water level to be customized for different skimmer requirements.
Additional sump chamber can be used for filtration media, biological media, or as a refugium, with an adjustable water level.
Includes an acrylic automatic top-off reservoir with a pre-installed float valve.
