Behavior & Husbandry

Lemon Damsels are active fish that spend much of their day swimming around rockwork and defending a preferred territory.

Although generally manageable in appropriately stocked aquariums, they can become territorial as they mature, particularly toward smaller or more timid fish. Providing plenty of rockwork, caves, and visual barriers helps establish territories and reduce aggression.
