Their combination of intense coloration, peaceful temperament, and constant activity makes them a standout addition to virtually any reef aquarium. During display behavior, males often intensify their colors dramatically, creating an unforgettable visual display.
Because of their beauty and relative rarity, Clown Fairy Wrasses remain highly sought after by collectors and wrasse enthusiasts alike.
Behavior & Husbandry
Clown Fairy Wrasses are active swimmers that spend much of their day cruising through the water column and exploring rockwork. They thrive in mature reef aquariums with stable water quality, strong oxygenation, and plenty of open swimming space.
