Livestock orders ship Monday through Wednesday to help ensure safe arrival. Shipping includes insulated packaging, oxygen, and heat or cold packs when needed.

Florida overnight shipping is $50 and nationwide overnight shipping is $70.

Longnose Hawkfish

A striking and unique fish with a long snout and bold red-and-white pattern. Known for its perching behavior, the Longnose Hawkfish brings personality and interaction to any aquarium.

Behavior & Husbandry

Hawkfish are perchers and will spend most of their time sitting on rockwork or coral branches, watching their surroundings.

They are hardy and adapt well but may prey on small ornamental shrimp.


Feeding & Diet

Carnivorous and easy to feed.

What We Feed at Lush Corals:

  • Frozen mysis shrimp
  • Enriched brine shrimp
  • Pellet foods

In Your Aquarium:

  • Frozen foods
  • Pellets
  • Meaty foods

Compatibility Notes

Works well with:

  • Tangs
  • Clownfish

Use caution with small shrimp and very small fish.
