Behavior & Husbandry
Melanurus Wrasses are constantly active, swimming throughout the tank and interacting with the rockwork. They require a sand bed to bury in at night and when stressed.
They are beneficial in reef tanks as they may help control pests such as flatworms and small invertebrates.

Carnivorous and highly responsive to feeding.
