Behavior & Husbandry
One Spot Foxfaces are active swimmers that spend much of their time grazing algae from rockwork and glass. They are generally peaceful and do well in community reef systems with other non-aggressive species.
When stressed or resting, they may temporarily display darker camouflage coloration, which is completely normal behavior.
Like all rabbitfish, they possess venomous dorsal spines, so caution should be used during handling or aquarium maintenance.
Providing plenty of swimming space, rockwork, and stable water conditions will help them thrive long term.

Primarily herbivorous with constant grazing behavior.
