The Red Sea ReefSense Port Expander adds four additional ReefSense connection ports to the ReefControl Pro, expanding the controller’s total capacity to as many as seven compatible ReefSense probes and sensors.
The Port Expander connects directly to the ReefControl Pro and is designed for aquariums that require more comprehensive monitoring than the controller’s standard ports can accommodate. It allows reef keepers to add additional probes, install multiple leak detectors, monitor more than one location, or create a customized combination of ReefSense devices.
Every ReefSense probe and sensor uses the same universal digital connection. This means any compatible ReefSense device can be connected to any available port on the expander without matching it to a dedicated pH, temperature, salinity or ORP input.
