Red Sea ReefControl Power 8 USA Smart Power Center

The Red Sea ReefControl Power 8 USA is an eight-outlet smart power management center that brings Red Sea and third-party aquarium equipment into the ReefBeat ecosystem. Each connected device can be switched manually through ReefBeat, operated according to a daily schedule or controlled automatically by compatible ReefSense sensor readings.

ReefControl Power functions as an independent smart power center and does not require a ReefControl Lite or Pro for basic app-based outlet management. Users can monitor equipment status and live power consumption, create schedules and remotely switch individual outlets on or off.

When connected to a ReefControl Lite or Pro, ReefControl Power gains access to the readings from compatible ReefSense probes and sensors. Individual outlets can then respond automatically to temperature, ORP, leakage and other supported conditions.

Sensor-Controlled Applications

When paired with ReefControl Lite or Pro, ReefControl Power can automate connected equipment according to ReefSense readings. Possible applications include:

Standalone Temperature Control

A ReefSense Temperature Probe can be connected directly to ReefControl Power without using a ReefControl Lite or Pro. This allows the Power unit to manage a heater, chiller or cooling fan according to aquarium temperature.

A ReefControl Lite or Pro is required when using other ReefSense probe and sensor types for outlet automation.
